BJJ Video Series: Side Control

Side control in Jiu-Jitsu is a key position of dominance where you pin your opponent and are positioned perpendicular to them. You use arm pressure and the weight of your body emphasizing shoulder pressure. It is a used to set up armbar and choke submissions and is commonly used to transition to more dominant positions such as full mount. Being stuck in side control with a dominant partner is NO fun.
